Altakamo Organization

White Hands Organization for capacity building (WHOCB) is a national voluntary non-governmental, non religious and non-profitable organization works in the field of humanitarian in Central Darfur, the Organization is based in Zalengei town and has sub-offices in Nertiti and Golo own.                                      

 WHOCB was established in 2011 and is being annually registered to the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in Central Darfur State. Last Renew registration in 31 March 2022 for 12 months.                               

The objectives:

The main objective of WHOCB is to reduce the suffer of the conflict affected populations mainly child sectors through provision and delivery of humanitarian assistances.                                                                  

1-Capacity building for community through workshops and seminars, including but not limited to;

- Protection concentrates especially for women and child.

- Health education.

-Handicrafts as vocational trainings for youths both males and girls through:.

- Dissemination of child protection culture.

- Rehabilitation of Jebel Marra Roods to facilitate humanitarian services. 

-Support the most vulnerable groups (Orphans, Widows disable persons).

-Disseminate peace culture among communities through historical inherited.

- Cover the nutrition activities in Jebel Marra.

- Increase the access of the needy people to the basic needs.
